During my recent stay at the Garden Room in Truro, I was truly impressed by its convenient location. As someone who frequently travels and often finds themselves in need of a comfortable place to stay during transit, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Not only is it situated in Truro, a charming and vibrant town, but it is also easily accessible from the Newquay Train Station, just 11 km away. the fact that the nearest airport is only 14 km from the accommodation is a major convenience for travelers like myself.
While my experience at the Garden Room was practically flawless, if I were nitpicking, I would mention that the nearest airport, located 18 km away, is slightly farther than I would typically prefer. However, this minor inconvenience is hardly a significant drawback and certainly did not affect the overall quality of my stay.

I loved the "spontaneous rain shower experience" on my way to the well-appointed shower room. The remote location made it so exciting to try and find a taxi that actually wanted to give me a ride.
Who needs a reliable taxi service or accessible location anyway? It's all part of the adventure!

For the price we paid, our stay at the Garden Room was fantastic! The room itself was clean, cosy and had all the facilities we needed, including a microwave, toaster, and even a hair dryer. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be a wider menu selection.

The surroundings of the property were beautiful and secluded, perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. the room was clean and cosy, with great facilities including a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave. the bathroom, although separate from the room, was lovely and clean with hot water. the hosts were very accommodating and the room even had a hairdryer and access to Sky TV and Netflix. the outdoor seating area was a great addition, providing a comfortable space to relax.
The property is a bit remote, requiring a 20-minute walk to reach the nearest town.

The property was cozy and clean, with a secluded feel. the welcome pack with tea, coffee, and biscuits was a nice touch. the outdoor seating area had comfortable furniture and an electric table heater. the bathroom, although separate from the room, was clean and well-lit with hot water. the hosts were accommodating and provided clear instructions and local amenities information. the room had a hairdryer, Sky TV, and Netflix. the location was in the countryside, about a 20-minute walk to town, and taxis were readily available nearby.
The bathroom being outside was a slight inconvenience, especially in bad weather. the walk to the coast path and nearest restaurant and grocery store was quite far and involved walking on busy streets without sidewalks.
